So… what exactly is Vega Wednesdays?
Vega Wednesdays is our way of shaking up the middle of the week. Every Wednesday, we send free pizza to a marketing team in Gibraltar, just a genuine “you’re doing a great job.” Think of it as a midweek morale boost delivered in a pizza box.
How does it actually work?
It’s simple: you nominate a marketing team that deserves some love. We pop all the names into our very serious (and highly scientific) “people who deserve pizza” list. Then each Wednesday, we pick one team, send them hot pizza, and make their week a little better.
Who can I nominate?
Anyone! If you know a marketing team in Gibraltar that’s gone the extra mile. Whether they pulled off a big campaign, hit their targets, or just survived another week of client chaos , they can be nominated. Colleagues, friends, rivals… if they deserve pizza, they’re fair game.
Do they have to do anything in return?
Nope. No forms, no pitches, no awkward sales calls afterwards. The pizza arrives, they enjoy it, and that’s it. The only thing we might encourage is sharing a quick snap on LinkedIn with #VegaWednesdays but even that’s optional.
Can people outside Gibraltar take part?
For now, Vega Wednesdays is all about Gibraltar. We’re keeping it local, celebrating the brilliant teams right here on the Rock. One day it might spread further but for now, only Gibraltar-based marketing teams are eligible.
Why pizza though?
Because pizza makes everyone smile. It’s the universal sign of “you’ve earned it.” We thought about cupcakes, balloons, or even a fruit basket… but nothing beats a hot slice of pizza turning up in the middle of the workday.
Why is Vega Gibratlar doing this?
Because we’re an agency that actually delivers. We take our work seriously, but we also know marketing can be a grind. Vega Wednesdays is our way of giving something back to the community here in Gibraltar! A little fun, a little recognition, and a lot of pizza.

Because Mondays are chaos, Fridays are already a party, and Wednesday is the day that really needs a lift. It’s the middle of the week, the point where motivation dips; So what better time for a surprise pizza? Plus, Vega Wednesdays just has a nice ring to it (we couldn’t resist the alliteration).
